Streamlined Gooseneck Sign Lighting Gains Mass Acclaim

The typical use of sign lighting is to illuminate signs and awnings, with the hope of business owners bringing extra attention to their businesses. In the past choices were limited to one or two sign lighting styles that not always represented the overall exterior appearance of these buildings, but desire for something different persisted due to the increased want and need for more sign light designs tailored for specific building types. With architecture ever evolving, designs were needed for existing historical buildings as well as modern structures. Echoing some of the shared elements of these buildings, the creation of the Emblem Shade carries over an organic appearance that is provided through the use of rounded shapes and a slim low profile. Although fitting of a modern structure, the retro compact appearance of the Emblem Gooseneck Sign Light harks back to the Art Deco and Streamline Modern movements of the early to mid 20th century that emphasized rounded forms and function. This Architectural RLM benefits from a unique design that places the bulb high within the slanted upper dome of the Emblem’s directional shade, which collects the light created by a choice of standard incandescent, CFL, or HID lighting. When combined with a large selection of gooseneck arms and premium finishes, the timelessness and versatility of the Emblem Shade becomes more apparent through its unparalleled, universal design.
