Soothe Your Spring Fever with Inspiration from Instagram
As we head into the second half of April, spring is in full swing across the country. Flowers and trees are blooming, pollen is thick, and people are starting to spruce up their yards, porches, and decks in anticipation of warmer days spent outdoors.
Rhonda, @SouthernHomeandFarm, is a Texas master gardener with a loyal following who can’t wait to see what’s happening in her greenhouse. The building is prepped and ready for the growing season and is highlighted by a Marathon Gooseneck Light. This handcrafted fixture is customized with a 16″ shade in a powder coat Black finish and G11 gooseneck arm.
Our good friend and designer Lisa Davenport of LDD Interiors recently participated in a charity event in Naples, Florida. Known as Naples Tables, designers come together and each design a table loaded with color and style. Lisa used vintage pieces along with Barn Light’s Porcelain Enamelware plates, bowls, and cups to make this beautiful spring tablescape.
Jeff and Michelle love the farmhouse style which is evident in the recent build of their horse barn and home which they are sharing on their Instagram feed called Life In Our Four Gables. This spring, their yard offers a stunning and fragrant display of Limelight hydrangeas. The barn is beautifully illuminated with fixtures from The Original™ Collection.
Nothing says spring like fresh flowers on the table! This sweet setting is from our friends at From the Hartland who were featured on the Barn Light blog last fall. The Wilcox Deep Bowl Pendant over the table and the Seaside Pendant Light over the sink, both finished in porcelain Delphite Blue, add to the spring vibe.
Spring means outdoor living again! Debra, over at Homespun Style, has prepped her guest cottage with a bike, an overflowing hanging basket, some tasty refreshments, and The Original™ Gooseneck Light to light the way after dark. This American-made wall light features a 20″ shade, Emerald Green finish, and G22 gooseneck arm.
Spring has definitely sprung at Lake Maxinkukee in Culver, Indiana, where Dawn and her family are ready for the season. Fresh flowers in the boxes, a crisp American flag flying, and Chestnut Gooseneck Lights create a welcoming entry for family and friends. Dawn customized her handcrafted gooseneck lights with 16″ shades, a White powder coat finish, and G15 Galvanized gooseneck arms.
Allie dresses up her front porch with fresh flowers, a repurposed dresser, and a classic gooseneck barn light. The Wilcox Vented Gooseneck Light sports a 16″ shade, Galvanized finish, circle vents, and a rugged G19 gooseneck arm that provides excellent support for the fixture.
