Happy Fall y’all!
Even though Florida won’t feel like fall for another month or two, we’re celebrating pumpkins, potted mums, and plenty of barn lights to brighten up the night. We spotted some gorgeous fall displays over on our Instagram feed so be sure to hop over and get inspired!
Rolling down the tree-lined driveway in the historic Old Eau Gallie District, the house looks like many of the others built 40 years ago in Melbourne, Florida. Passing through the covered entryway however, you soon realize this special place is far from an ordinary coastal cottage.
You can almost feel your blood pressure falling as you travel the Overseas Highway in South Florida heading towards the Keys. The brilliant sun, lush palm trees, and sparkling water on both sides of the highway lend a relaxed vibe where worries just melt away.
Transforming a whimsical child’s bedroom into a more elegant and upscale guest room qualifies as a major remodel. Cecilia approached this task recently in her Sharpsburg, Georgia, home with this photograph from a magazine as inspiration.
