Featured Customer | Barn Pendants, Industrial Ceiling Fan for Farmhouse

This cozy and comfortable farmhouse, located in northwest Washington near the U.S. border with Canada, has plenty of color and texture to provide visual interest and create an inviting atmosphere. From the warm wood beams to the stone surround on the fireplace, this home has plenty of rustic charm. To complement the rustic decor, Robert, our featured homeowner, chose two cord hung barn pendants for over the kitchen sink. These Sydney Cord Hung Pendants lend an industrial look to Robert’s space and have a unique uplight feature that lets light escape over the top of the shade thanks to the cast guard and glass design. This American made pendant comes in four shade sizes and more than a dozen powder coat finish colors that offer a rainbow of choices. Robert chose a Galvanized finish for his 14″ shades that also feature a matching Galvanized guard and clear glass. You may wish to choose a contrasting color for the guard and either frosted or ribbed glass. To top off this rugged fixture, customize it with a standard cord or a cotton cord for even more color.

machine_age_galvanized_ceiling_fan.jpegIn the living room, Robert chose the Machine Age Galvanized Ceiling Fan with 52″ Maple blades. This ceiling fan adds yet another industrial touch to the space and would be just as perfect in an urban loft with exposed duct work or in a log home in the mountains. The Machine Age Fan comes with two blade sizes — 42″ and 52″ — and six blade colors ranging from White to Mahogany to Galvanized Steel. Robert went with a 12″ downroad for his new fan but you have seven sizes to choose from to fit your space. A light kit is also available for this fan featuring an RLM warehouse shade to give a hint of vintage style. Fan speed and remote control kits are also available so you’ll never have to leave the comfort of your easy chair to adjust your fan!
