Like the rest of the Sunshine State, we’re battening down the hatches here on the Space Coast as Hurricane Irma makes her way north. But before we duck and cover for the weekend, we wanted to share some pictures from a neighbor just south of us in Indian Harbour Beach. Zon Beachside Assisted Luxury Living recently constructed a new building on their coastal campus and chose some rugged porcelain enamel gooseneck lighting for the exterior.
If you’re a careful reader of our blog, you may remember a mention of Roscoe, New York a few years back. Located two hours north of New York City, this tiny hamlet is home to Prohibition Distillery , a fire hall-turned-distillery with some pretty cool industrial lighting. Roscoe was also home to the Red Rose Motel which operated first as a dance hall, then later as a respite for tourists passing through the area.

With the explosion of craft breweries all over the country, more and more people are enjoying the never-ending menus of full-flavored brews and seeking out new venues where they can enjoy them. When Brian Smith, partner at Studio Tack , a design firm in Brooklyn, heard that master brewer Sam Calagione wanted to open a beer-themed getaway, he jumped at the opportunity to be part of its creation.
