The Original™ is constructed the old-fashioned way: completely by hand, using commercial-grade materials. Customization options for this gooseneck light include multiple finish options — powder coat, copper or brass, and our signature high-gloss porcelain — and rugged guards.

Copper & Brass
For oil-rubbed copper, weathered copper and brass finishes, slight variations may occur from shade to shade.
Copper and brass fixtures have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture. There are no returns accepted on these metals.
Copper is a "living" metal that, without regular cleaning, will undergo a natural weathering process. Much like the formation of rust on iron, a patina develops on copper which actually protects the metal. If you prefer the new-penny look of copper, you can keep it shiny with regular care with a gentle cleaning agent such as Bar Keeper's Friend.

Porcelain Enamel
Porcelain enamel, our signature finish, is celebrated for its protective properties and unique, high-gloss surface. Every porcelain shade is fired in a special oven. To relieve the pressure that builds up in these high temperatures, one or more vent holes are included in the shade's design. The hole(s) are later sealed with silicon to prevent any chance of moisture intrusion that could damage the shade.
All fixtures undergo a strict quality control evaluation to ensure they meet our high standards; however, some minor blemishes may occur due to our hands-on construction and manufacturing processes. These blemishes do not affect the functionality of the fixture.

Lead Times & Returns
Lead Time: Standard lead time is 7-14 business days. For products in our Quick Ship Collection, standard lead time is 5-7 business days. Products utilizing natural metals including brass and copper may take up to 20-30 business days to manufacture.

Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.

Excellent choice for us. We have an old post and beam barn and this light is what it really needed. The styling and quality are above expectations and we will be purchasing 2 more to complete our project. Thank you for such a great look

These lights are gorgeous, we were originally planning on utilizing copper for our lights and gutters. However, we were unable to replace an existing section of gutter which was galvanized (long story...). So instead, we decided to go with galvanized for the building and I am glad we did. It adds the right amount of industrial look while keeping the vintage warehouse feel. FYI, I have 75-foot building front and decided on 4 lights each with the 16" shades. I was nervous that they would look too small, but they do not. I am actually glad I didn't go much bigger.
The "Original" Warehouse gooseneck light was just what I wanted. The quality is great.

Love this company. Nothing cheap in the quality of these lighting products, service is impeccable and you pay a fair price. We used this light on the exterior of new home construction and cottage garage. Love the look and love the quality. Made our decision after researching several dealers-in my mind best out there.
This black light fixture exhibits quality construction and looks great mounted above the garage door - exactly as expected.
From past bad experiences with built-in photocells from other manufacturers, I did elect to use an independent photocell this time around.
Beyond dimensions already shown on the website for various components, I'd propose they add dimensions for the distance between the bottom of the socket and the bottom of the shade, and the diameter and height of the glass and guards. This information would be quite useful for selecting from the wide variety of fluorescent and LED bulbs before the fixture arrives.

I purchased the black Gooseneck Light to put on the side of my garage to light up my patio and BBQ area. I did a lot of research online, and found that these barn lights were the best combination of price/quality/options.
I wanted a specific size and extension from my building, and was able to accomplish this thanks to Barn Light Electric.

I purchased two gooseneck lights for my garage in galvanized. They look great and I am very pleased with them. I love all of the options Barn Light Electric offers and the quality is excellent.
