During his time as an artist, Jackson Pollock created an atypical and personal style of painting. He incorporated drip painting into his art, giving that technique the fame it has today. At Barn Light Electric, we took inspiration from Pollock and his inimitable artwork to make one of the most unique finishes we've ever produced.
Our Pollock No. 03 uses our deep bowl shade and features a drip pattern of Jadite, Cobalt, and Delphite porcelain enamel finish colors, with splashes of Yellow to create the unparalleled style that separates the Pollock No. 03 from all other lighting choices. Hand-crafted from commercial grade steel, and available in three shade sizes, the Pollock No. 03 is a truly unique pendant light for any home or business looking to make a statement with lighting.Â
Part of what makes this collection special is that each fixture is its own work of art, with each finish varying slightly from shade to shade. Although we try to recreate the pattern shown in the above photo as best we can, each fixture will have its own special characteristics, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

Porcelain Enamel
Porcelain enamel, our signature finish, is celebrated for its protective properties and unique, high-gloss surface. Every porcelain shade is fired in a special oven. To relieve the pressure that builds up in these high temperatures, one or more vent holes are included in the shade's design. The hole(s) are later sealed with silicon to prevent any chance of moisture intrusion that could damage the shade.
All fixtures undergo a strict quality control evaluation to ensure they meet our high standards; however, some minor blemishes may occur due to our hands-on construction and manufacturing processes. These blemishes do not affect the functionality of the fixture.

Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.
