Vintage influences and modern technology meet in the Primary. While the pendant’s design dates back to the 1920s, it remains popular in today’s décors. A versatile look, a classic glass shade and sturdy stem mounting give the fixture its timeless, nearly universal appeal. From opaque or clear shades to powder coat or natural metal finishes, different customizing options let the Primary adapt to every setting.
Integrated LED components produce bright illumination while consuming relatively little energy. This astonishing efficiency benefits the environment and restricts power bills. By equally prioritizing practical and aesthetic purposes, the Primary is the ideal addition to residential and commercial lighting plans.

Schoolhouse Globes
Schoolhouse globes are best cleaned with a damp, soft cloth. To protect the glass and painted bands, avoid alcohol-based and abrasive cleaners. Instead, we recommend the following alcohol-free soaps and cleaners: 409, Windex, Dawn Dish Soap, Simple Green, and Mr. Clean Multi-Surface. Schoolhouse globes featuring a painted band selection should only be used indoors.
Copper & Brass
For oil-rubbed copper, weathered copper and brass finishes, slight variations may occur from shade to shade.
Copper and brass fixtures have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture. There are no returns accepted on these metals.
Copper is a "living" metal that, without regular cleaning, will undergo a natural weathering process. Much like the formation of rust on iron, a patina develops on copper which actually protects the metal. If you prefer the new-penny look of copper, you can keep it shiny with regular care with a gentle cleaning agent such as Bar Keeper's Friend.
Lead Times & Returns
Standard lead time is 7-14 business days. This is not applicable to commercial orders, Quick Ship lighting or furniture. Quick Ship lighting has a standard lead time of 5-7 business days. Furniture requires a 4-6 week lead time. Copper and brass products have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture.
Returns are accepted for most products within 30 days of delivery. We do not accept returns for fixtures that have been installed or are damaged. There are no returns accepted on furniture items, natural metal products, or products assembled with GU24 sockets, integrated LED's or light bulbs. All fixtures undergo a strict quality control evaluation to ensure they meet our high standards; however, some minor blemishes may occur due to our hands-on construction and manufacturing processes. These blemishes do not affect the functionality of the fixture.
Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion, especially in salt air environments. If your fixture will be installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it monthly.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.
