Wire Guard Pendants and Sconces Add Industrial Flair to Bath

If you’re looking to infuse some industrial style into the bath, take some inspiration from our Featured Customer Fred who has a lovely lakefront home in Sparta, New Jersey. Fred recently remodeled a bathroom in his home and added rustic pendants and a rustic vanity sconce for a nautical industrial look. “I like the beach look as opposed to the cabin look,” Fred says. “And I wanted something different than the cookie cutter fixtures from the home centers.”

He chose two of our 12″ Barn Light Blue Collar Pendants in a Medium Blue finish with clear glass and a standard white cord for the center of the room. With its wire shade and cast guard, the Blue Collar Pendant not only allows plenty of light to shine through, but it also adds a definite industrial vibe to the space.
The Blue Collar Pendant also comes in 14″ and 16″ sizes and there are more than two dozen finish colors to choose from ranging from traditional shades like Galvanized and Black to Coppertone, Sage, and Satin Aluminum. While Fred chose a standard white cord, you can also customize this rustic light with a stem mount in your choice of lengths and colors.

Over the vanity, Fred selected a Double Wire Guard rustic sconce in a matching Medium Blue to add another splash of color to his crisp, clean design. Our American made, Atomic Topless Double Wire Guard Sconce is a generous 23″ wide to provide plenty of light with its double jelly jar glass design. It can be finished in a dozen beautiful powder coat finish colors, or if you like our porcelain palette, select one of our porcelain colors in our paint-to-match porcelain option.

“A big plus for me was being able to use 100 watt bulbs instead of the 60 watt maximum allowed on most fixtures,” Fred says. If you are interested in compact fluorescents, the Blue Collar Pendant and the Atomic Wire Guard Sconce both offer CFL wattage options!
