Barn Chandelier, Edison Light Bulbs for a Modern Bedroom

When facing an empty room it’s difficult for many homeowners to imagine what all the different pieces of furniture and accessories will look like when everything is finally in place. It’s often very helpful to bring in a professional to offer advice on bringing the many details of a space together so that it flows well and truly reflects your own style. This master bedroom is a beautiful blend of both modern and rustic touches and was created by our friend Mary Jo Fiorella of Fiorella Design. Located in the San Francisco Bay area, Mary Jo brings an eclectic view to her clients’ projects.

But there is a clean, uncluttered look to the space as well. The round chandelier with a nickel finish has a modern edge that is softened a bit with the addition of the nostalgic Edison style light bulbs.kitty_hawk_chandelier_barn_chandeliers1-238x300.jpg

To get this look, check out our Kitty Hawk Chandlier, part of our collection of Barn Chandeliers. This rugged chandelier has loads of industrial charm with its hand-worked, wrought-iron frame and chain mounting. Finished in a classic Copper Bronze, the Kitty Hawk Chandelier is available in two sizes. The 26″ model features six light bulbs while the larger 36″ version features eight bulbs. This fixture comes to you ready to hang — vintage light bulbs included!

If you like the look of the Kitty Hawk but want something a bit different, don’t miss the Kitty Hawk Linear Chandelier which offers a different twist on round chandelier design. This 42″ long fixture, finished in the traditional Copper Bronze, will easily light up a pool table, the garage workshop, or the dining room table. And with its classic industrial lines and vintage bulbs, the linear chandelier would work well in a range of home styles from a country kitchen to an urban loft.
