May 2011 - Continuing to expand on their exclusive line of porcelain enamel products, Barn Light Electric is excited to announce the addition of two new shade styles: The Union and The Wilcox. Available in all three popular mounting styles (gooseneck, stem mount and cord hung), these two shades are ready to illuminate some of today's finest homes and businesses.

The Wilcox is a modern take on classic lighting. A perfect mid-sized light for above kitchen islands or showrooms, the 10" deep bowl shade has traditional styling with a sleek contemporary finish. Mirroring some of America's classic gas station lights is The Union. A domed central neck, much like the Aero, attaches to the ever popular 14" warehouse shade design. Both of these original designs date back to the mid 20th century, when they were commonly found in industrial factories, automobile service stations, soda shoppes and burger joints!

The quality of porcelain enamel lighting is unmatched. New porcelain enamel lights have the ability to last decades and over the years, won't fade or deteriorate like many other light fixtures today. Just like years ago, Barn Light Electric's porcelain products remain American-made. Today, they are also all CSA rated for residential or commercial projects.
