Titusville, Fla. (November 29th, 2012) — Although their home was crumbling from the ceiling to the foundation, Daniel and Mandy Watson opened their doors and their hearts to establish the Restoration House of East Tennessee, a nonprofit organization that gave lower-income single mothers a place to live and the tools to succeed in life.

The couple, with three adopted children of their own, were surprised one morning when the producers of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” showed up at their door to build them a brand new home with plenty of space for everyone. The Watson family’s new home was brightened with barn-style lighting donated by Barn Light Electric of Titusville, Florida.

Barn Light Electric was founded four years ago by a couple with a love of restoring vintage lights. In one of the worst economic times in U.S. history, Barn Light Electric grew quickly to become one of the world’s most popular sources for original, American-made barn lights, gooseneck lights, and other vintage fixtures.

The show featuring the Watson family is scheduled to air later this year on the ABC network as part of the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” final season.
