Schoolhouse Globes
Schoolhouse globes are best cleaned with a damp, soft cloth. To protect the glass and painted bands, avoid alcohol-based and abrasive cleaners. Instead, we recommend the following alcohol-free soaps and cleaners: 409, Windex, Dawn Dish Soap, Simple Green, and Mr. Clean Multi-Surface. Schoolhouse globes featuring a painted band selection should only be used indoors.
Copper & Brass
For oil-rubbed copper, weathered copper and brass finishes, slight variations may occur from shade to shade.
Copper and brass fixtures have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture. That are no returns accepted on these metals.
Copper is a "living" metal that, without regular cleaning, will undergo a natural weathering process. Much like the formation of rust on iron, a patina develops on copper which actually protects the metal. If you prefer the new-penny look of copper, you can keep it shiny with regular care with a gentle cleaning agent such as Bar Keepers Friend.

The schoolhouse lights we purchased were an excellent addition to our kitchen. It makes our kitchen much brighter and the painted bands blend perfectly with the overall color palette. They were incredibly easy to install and their construction seems very durable. Undoubtedly we will enjoy them for many years to come!
I am so very happy with the Schoolhouse lights that we purchased! The quality is fantastic and it adds so much charm to our kitchen. I do have two very small details that we were very slightly unhappy with. We ordered the lights at different times, when the first one came it had your lovely little logo on the light fixture. The second one didn't. Also the screws that attach the fixture to the ceiling are not painted to match the housing. That would be a nice touch. And, by the way, fabulous packaging!!! Overall, past pleased with our purchase.
I just love the intermediate flush mount school house lights. They have a vintage look with a bit of whimsy. I feel they are the perfect fit for my kitchen. Love them. I ordred a clear globe and returned it and ordered the opaque ones. This looks much softer and a better fit.
Perfect for our 1928 tudor home and the red version is a playful contrast to our muted blue walls. Happy with the quality and custom work.

My only concern is your use of UPS. They're not the most convenient shipper in the Burlington Ontario area.
