Industrial Lighting Trend Offers Many Looks for Many Styles

Industrial style lighting is one of the hottest design trends these days. You see these lighting fixtures everywhere from seaside cottages and urban lofts to medical offices and restaurants. The beauty of the industrial look is that it feels comfortable in many different spaces. And when you consider all the different finish options that are available, your new light can take on a look that’s traditional, rustic, retro, or even modern.

Take a look at this selection of industrial lights recently featured on Remodelista.  As part of the decor at a London restaurant, these examples show the plethora of sizes, shapes, and even textures in industrial lighting fixtures. From historic RLM-inspired warehouse shades to atomic pendants with wire guards, these lights can become a functional piece of art that’s sure to be a conversation starter.

That beautiful light blue warehouse shade in the center is very similar to our Ivanhoe® Dino Warehouse Porcelain Pendant, part of our collection of cord-hung porcelain pendants. These durable pendants are American made right here at Barn Light Electric and come in nine gorgeous finish colors including lovely jadite green. The glass enamel coating on the lights is baked on to provide years of service with only a soap-and-water cleanup as needed.

The fixture on the far left closely resembles our Barn Light Blue Collar Pendant, a rustic pendant with plenty of style and customization options galore. With seven sizes to choose from and almost three dozen finish colors, this light can take on a variety of looks. Give the glass a dose of personality too with color and texture options.

If you’re leaning towards a more vintage vibe, then the exquisite Magnolia Pendant may be just what you’re looking for. With its traditional finishes of old bronze, aged brass, or two nickel options to choose from, the Magnolia lends an air of nostalgia to any room. Add an Edison style light bulb for the perfect vintage touch!
