the Mayor and Council, the Governing Body of the Borough of Barnegat Light,

WHEREAS, NJSA 40A:4-19 provides for the making of
temporary appropriations for the period

Governing Body desires to provide for the orderly method of meeting claims
during the period prior to the adoption of the 2007
Budget.

make reportable political contributions to municipal candidates so as to
otherwise require fair and open contract advertising pursuant to the provisions of
NJSA 19:44A-20.5; and
WHEREAS, the Borough
Chief Financial Officer has determined and certified in writing that the value
of is contract may exceed $17,500; and
WHEREAS, Terry F.
Brady Esq., has completed and submitted a Business Entity Disclosure
Certification which certifies that his law firm has not made any reportable
contributions to a political or candidate committee in the Borough of Barnegat
Light in the previous one year, and that the contract will prohibit the making
of any reportable contributions throughout the term
thereof.
