About Us – Barn Light USA Commercial Division
With a passion for vintage light fixtures, Florida natives Bryan and Donna Scott began Barn Light Electric when the high-quality materials and craftsmanship of early 20th century lighting began fading away. The couple decided to make their own line of barn lighting the old-fashioned way using only the highest quality, commercial grade materials. The Scotts found that others shared their passion and the demand for their fixtures soon exceeded the resources of their home-based business. Early in 2008, Bryan and Donna left their professional careers to manage the business full time.
The growth of Barn Light Electric has been remarkable considering it came during one of the worst economic periods in our country’s history. With orders coming in from around the world, the Scotts fulfilled their dream of reviving the market of porcelain enamel lighting and launched their own porcelain enamel manufacturing operation in 2012. Once a staple of the lighting industry, porcelain enamel lighting, favored for its high gloss finish that never fades or corrodes, had not been manufactured in America for more than 50 years.
Barn Light Electric products are favored by architects, designers, contractors, lighting professionals, and homeowners who desire quality, American-made lighting that can be customized with size, finish, mounting, and dozens of other options.
The next phase of growth for the company is the launching of Barn Light USA Commercial Division – a portal that connects architects, designers, and commercial industry professionals directly to high-quality lighting tailored to their specific production needs.
All of the Barn Light USA Commercial products are manufactured, assembled, and shipped by Barn Light Electric Manufacturing in Titusville, Florida. Local sales representatives guide professionals through the process of placing bulk orders, understanding the variety of customizing options, and applying for trade accounts. Personal reps communicate directly with the manufacturer to ensure commercial customers receive detailed specifications and superior lighting products for their construction and design projects.
